Woonsocket's MLK Community Committee's slate of events to celebrate and honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. include the following:
This year's J.W. Hinson Scholarship Banquet will take place in your home with dinner delivered to your door. Bugg'd Outt BBQ is making delicious chicken dinners complete with roasted potatoes, pasta with sauce, string beans, salad and dinner rolls. MLK Community Committee members will deliver dinner to your home (must live in the Woonsocket area) or you can pick up your dinner at Millrace Kitchen.
Proceeds will support one High School Senior who made a strong contribution to the community, and Saint James Baptist Church High School Seniors who have made strong contribution to the S.J.B.C. youth ministry.
Please specify preferred delivery time and allow for a half hour delivery window.
Stay safe and stay home while still enjoying fellowship and supporting Woonsocket students attending college!

A small group will be meeting at the MLK Sculpture Site between South Main and Mason Street at 10 am on Monday, January 18.
