Reverend Lee Willilams

Lee Williams was born on October 12, 1955 to the late Juanita Clark Williams and the late George Engram in Mound Bayou, Mississippi. He became a Christian at an early age and was baptized at the age of twelve.

Williams attended Elementary and High School in Shaw and Cleveland Mississippi. He attended Kansas Wesleyan University in 1976 majoring in Electronics. He received a Master of Arts Degree in Urban Ministry from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary in 2011. He is also a veteran of the U.S. Army, having completed three years of military service.

After leaving the military with an Honorable Discharge, he moved to Chicago, IL where he remained for 17 years. While in Chicago, Lee attended the New Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church and later joined the Friendship Baptist Church where he answered the call to preach the Gospel. He was licensed in 1994. While in Chicago, Reverend Lee Williams attended 

Moody Bible Institute and Chicago Baptist Institute.

 

Rev. Williams relocated to North Attleboro, MA in 1998 due to a job transfer. He joined Saint James Baptist Church in Woonsocket, RI where he served as Youth Minister under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Sammy C. Vaughan for 2 years before being appointed to serve the Visitation Ministry.

Rev. Lee Williams has bi-weekly service at Trinity and Woonsocket Health and Rehabilitation Center. He also visits the hospitals and nursing homes to comfort the bereaved and sick of the church and community.

On October 11, 2003 Rev. Williams married the love of his life Pamela Denise Gray of Woonsocket, RI. On July 20, 2014 Rev. Williams was ordained by ABCORI and Saint James Baptist Church in Woonsocket, RI.

Rev. Williams was Ordained as a Minister of the Gospel on July 20, 2014 at Saint James Baptist Church. He has walked through the open door that God has opened to preach for various churches in the states of Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Rev. Williams loves listening to Christian Music, watching Science Fiction Movies and is a Chicago Bulls and Chicago Bears sports fan. He hopes one day that his wife will teach him how to play the piano.
